Hi,
Hope this goes to people planning to visit OpenVZ tutorial...
Since the tutorial will be only 45 minutes long, I am trying to optimize the time. I need to know what Linux distro are you planning to use for it, and do you have OpenVZ installed or not.
Then, if there is some specific OpenVZ topic you want to dive it, let me know as well.
Hi Kir,
I definitely plan to visit your tutorial.
I do not have specific plans for OpenVZ deployment yet, but most probably I will use either RedHat/CentOS, or Fedora for it.
I'd like to hear more about OpenVZ setup and administration, especially how it is similar to/different from Solaris Zones.
Thanks,
Ilya.
I'm currently running OpenVZ under RHEL 5.3.
One topic I would like to discuss is getting openvz running with newer kernels, how to get around the out of date pre-compiled openvz kernels that are currently available.
I wouldn't mind discussing openvz with clustering as well as vzmigrate.
